Summer at Brooklands Museum

Head down to the Museum this summer for all the fun of the fair! Step back in time and re-live the simple days of a traditional village fête with a Brooklands twist. On weekdays throughout August (except Bank Holiday Monday), enjoy games from your childhood such as Swingball, Hopscotch and Quoits and compete for a place on the winner’s podium in our family-friendly races. Laze in the sun on a deckchair whilst eating ice-cream, or sip on a cool drink and watch the world go by.

We’ll also be running our famous car rides, pedal planes, Kids Tours on Concorde and family craft workshops.

Brooklands Summer Activities

Summer Fête Fun

Weekdays 1st - 30th August*
On weekdays* throughout August find all the fun and games of a traditional village fête waiting for you. Settle down in a deckchair on the lawn in front of the Clubhouse, where you will be able to have a go at our vintage-inspired lawn games, including Hopscotch, Giant Connect 4, Skittles and Coconut shy.

For young visitors, there will be pedal-driven planes and cars to try out and our giant deckchair will provide the perfect ‘selfie’ opportunity for all. On selected days throughout the holiday, there will be tradition ‘sports day’ races and the chance to take a victory photograph on our winners’ podium.

No Fête would be complete without the tea tent! Ice cream, lemonade, tea, cakes and other summer treats will be available.
