Writing Workshop: Where do you start?
- Date September 25, 2018
- Time 10:30a.m. - 3:30p.m.
- Suitable for Adults
We often attribute a child's ability to tell stories to his big imagination but ours is bigger. We’ve lived, loved and learned longer and yet, we’re often more hesitant. Our internal editor/critic tells us that our stories aren’t good enough, we haven’t the right words, nobody wants to know and we believe him/her!
This workshop will teach you to silence the critic while the storyteller in you gets to grip with the story you want to tell. We’ll look at memoir exercises that get you re-inventing, rediscovering and reorganising the memories that make great stories - whether they are fact or fiction!
Workshop cost £45 per person (£35 per person for Brooklands Trust Members)
Book 3 workshops or more for a 5% discount.
Places are strictly limited on a first come, first served basis.
