Writing Workshop: The Short Story
- Date February 26, 2019
- Time 10:30am - 3:30pm
- Suitable for Adults
Join us for a writing workshop with tuition from Adrienne Dines. ‘Short stories speak to our wider human experience by focussing on tiny patch/patches of time.’ The reader experiences the story as it unfolds and come to know the character absolutely in that moment. At the end of the story, we feel the character goes on without us. The episode, or episodes around which the story revolves are complete; the character’s life is not.
We’ll look at literary and commercial short stories and how you can write the one that best suits you.
Workshop cost £45 per person (£35 per person for Brooklands Trust Members)
Book 3 workshops or more for a 5% discount.
Places are strictly limited on a first come, first served basis.
