Writing Workshop: Meeting your Characters
- Date November 20, 2018
- Time 10:30am - 3:30pm
- Suitable for Adults
Join us for a writing workshop with tuition from Adrienne Dines. One of the nicest experiences for a writer is to sit in a room full of people arguing about his characters – really believing they exist. How do you create characters like that – where do you find them? How do you, as storyteller, separate the people you know from what you know about people (and how do you avoid being sued!)
Does your reader have to like your character or is the relationship more complicated than that (yes, by the way)?
Using a variety of exercises, we’ll create intriguing , believable characters to keep those pages turning!
Workshop cost £45 per person (£35 per person for Brooklands Trust Members)
Book 3 workshops or more for a 5% discount.
Places are strictly limited on a first come, first served basis.
