Writing Workshop: Heroes and Villains
- Date February 18, 2020
- Time 10:30a.m. - 3:30p.m.
- Suitable for Adults
Writing workshop with tuition from Adrienne Dines.
Is the difference between a hero and a villain that one is a good person (who might do bad things) and the other a bad person (who might do good)? Why do we fall for rogues with little to commend them and dismiss the blameless for being ‘too nice’? In this workshop, we’ll look at the roles characters play in stories and consider why ‘archetypes’ are useful when fleshing out our heroes and villains.
The day begins at 10.30am and lasts until 3.30pm. Refreshments will be available in the morning and afternoon but please provide your own lunch.
Workshop cost £45 per person (£35 per person for Brooklands Members)
