Get Set Go! Summer Science Show
This summer, put science in the driving seat with Get Set Go!, an action-packed live STEM show - exclusive to Brooklands Museum.
Running weekdays until 28 August as part of the Summer of Speed, this exciting 30-minute family show combines spectacular science, engineering, comedy and the remarkable story of Brooklands to bring the science of speed to life.
Show times: 11.30am, 1.30pm and 2.30pm
Due to the extreme weather, the Show will take place undercover in the First to the Fastest exhibition area by Concorde.
Join the eccentric inventors Stanley Crank and Sidney Gasket as they recreate the excitement of Britain's first Grand Prix before racing into the future with their robotic assistant, Techy Sparks.
Together, they'll tackle thrilling experiments, surprising challenges and plenty of audience participation as they discover what it takes to build the ultimate racing machine.
From aerodynamics and friction to heat, balance and engineering, Get Set Go! explores the real science behind motorsport through hands-on demonstrations inspired by the pioneering innovations that made Brooklands famous.
Packed with laughs, audience volunteers, interactive experiments and fascinating moments from Brooklands' history, this energetic show encourages young minds to think like engineers, inventors and racing drivers while having fun together as a family.
Included with Brooklands Museum admission, Get Set Go! is the perfect way to experience the excitement of the Summer of Speed and discover why Brooklands has been inspiring innovation for more than a century.
Running weekdays until 28 August throughout the summer holidays. Suitable for families and children of all ages.
