- Date September 26, 2020 - September 27, 2020
- Time 10:00am - 5:00pm
- Suitable for Everyone
Over the weekend of 26th/27th September instead of the live vehicle demonstrations, Brooklands will host a motorcycle contest that has never been held on the historic track.
Motoball, a variation of football played on motorcycles and using an over‐size football, was very popular in this country in the 1930s with top matches often attracting bigger crowds than First Division football games.
The games will be staged on the wide concrete expanse of the original Start/Finish Straight, using the half-size pitch to allow spectators to have an exciting close-up view of the action.
Match times 11:30am and 2:30pm
This unusual display will bring the track to life for everyone, with the Museum’s COVID 19 safety precautions allowing both competitors and visitors to safely enjoy the spectacle.
Visitor number are limited to allow for social distancing and timed-entry tickets to the Museum must be pre-booked
