Jason Flies Again

We’re partnering with the brilliant Jenny Lockyer this February Half Term for a fun build-along. Jason Flies Again celebrates the 90th anniversary of Amy Johnson’s incredible solo flight from England to Australia. Since the anniversary last spring children all over the world have been making models of Amy’s plane ‘Jason’. Jenny is hoping to get as many submissions as possible from kids (young and old) by the 31st March to produce a special video for the 5th May anniversary.

Jason Flies Again template download is available from Jenny for an optional donation of £5. Order a template and find out more about Jason Flies Again

Join the build-along with Jenny

Join us on Monday 15th February at 3pm when we premier the build-along videos on the Brooklands Museum Facebook. Jenny will be able to answer your questions and help if you get stuck.

Supersonic Winter Sled Craft Kit

While Brooklands Museum is closed, we need help from our home dispersal sites to build a mega order of supersonic sleds. This February Half Term join the Brooklands Home Engineering Team to build your own unique winter sled using our pre-packed craft kits. The craft kits come in three sizes, pre-packed with the sled template(s) and all the materials you will need to build and decorate.

Order your Supersonic Sled craft kits online:
