WRAeS The Vickers Valiant May 2026
Pete was working with the Valiant when the unexpected demise of the Valiant came in 1965 through metal fatigue in the wing. After becoming involved in the refurbishment of Valiant XD818, he caught the Valiant bug and has extensively researched the history of the aircraft type and the talk will present a history of this famous Brooklands product.
Prior to the talk and our usual meal option the RAeS Weybridge Branch AGM will be held. This is your chance to tell us what we are doing right and what we are doing wrong and what you like to see in future. Please come and have your say.
