Helicopter Fly-In 20 August 2026

This will be an all-helicopter event and we believe the largest gathering of different variants of helicopters this year in the UK. Helicopters will be landing on the Airstrip for viewing and photographs through the middle of the day. This will be an ideal chance to see (and hear) helicopters up close.

Plus, we are pleased to confirm a Westland Lynx AH.7 and a Bell 407GXi will also be joining! The Westland Lynx AH.7 is a British-designed multipurpose military helicopter and the first fully-aerobatic helicopter. The model also holds the absolute world helicopter speed record! The Bell 407GXi is a high-performance, single-engine, seven-place helicopter featuring a four-bladed main rotor and a Rolls-Royce 250-C47E/4 turboshaft engine with dual FADEC.

Timetable for the event: 

• 10:30am - 12:30pm - Helicopters land on the airstrip at Mercedes-Benz World; wristbands will be provided at Museum Admissions to allow entry to the Airstrip and to Brooklands Museum. 
• 1pm-2pm - Airstrip open to view the aircraft up close.
• 2:30pm-4:30pm - Helicopters will depart the airstrip.
