The National Championship Autotesting is returning to Brooklands! See Championship drivers taking timed tests at Brooklands Museum. If you like fast, thrilling and, at times, noisy action - this is the event for you!

Organising Club
Maidstone and Mid-Kent Motor Club (MMKMC) – MSUK Club of the Year 2023. As MMKMC, Dave and Ann Cook have been running Championship Autotests for over 40 years at various venues around Kent. For 2025 they were delighted to be able to bring a top Championship Autotest to the iconic Brooklands Museum for the first time. Winning the BTRDA ‘Flather Shield’ trophy for ‘Best Event’ in the Championship.
What’s it all about
See the elite Championship drivers making their cars dance. With precision driving as they manoeuvre round a series of set courses, or ‘Tests’. Using handbrake turns, j-turns and 360o spins round course markers, as well as stopping astride lines. Travelling both forwards and in reverse with amazing accuracy and speed, as they compete against the clock to record quick times.
Event Format
Competitors have the opportunity to learn the Tests by ‘walking them’ before the competition starts. There will be three Test sites in the heart of the Museum with a different Test layout on each. Competitors will complete six timed runs on each of the three layouts during the day, with all runs to count towards the results. Penalties are given for touching a course marker, failing to stop ‘astride’ a line and not following the correct route – a ‘Wrong Test’.
