Join us at Brooklands Museum as we turn back the clock to celebrate the Music, Fashion, Style and Dancing of the 40s, 50s & 60s.
This is a chance to put your hair up, grab your best period outfit and lace up the dance shoes.
Stock up on vintage gear at our extensive vintage trade village, featuring some of the best vintage sellers around, providing everything from original and reproduction clothing, shoes, accessories, books, home wares and original memorabilia.
The Brooklands airstrip will be open for Vintage Aircraft Fly-ins, get a spectacular view of them landing before heading on to the strip to meet the pilots*.
If all this activity gets a bit much head into the Dance Marquee behind the Motoring Sheds, where you will be able to refresh yourself with some food and drink, listen to live music, take part in a FREE dance lesson.
Any ladies wishing to refine their look should head to the Press Hut as a vintage-style hair and make-up parlour will be set up courtesy of Hair That Turns Heads. To pre-book an appointment e-mail: [email protected]
Special guests The Vintage Tourist will be on the look out for the best-dressed and the grand final will be in the Dance Marquee where the audience will be invited to cheer for the who they think should win.
Explore the secrets of Brooklands on one of our immersive tours. Follow an Air Raid Warden into the Air Raid Shelters to discover the sites wartime story or join aircraft designer George Edwards as he does his rounds of the Aircraft Factory.
On the Jackson Shed lawn, there will be vintage games which the whole family can have a go at, including hopscotch, skittles, skipping ropes and noughts and crosses.
All the usual Museum exhibits will be open but on this day, the site will be filled with periods vehicle displays, buses and re-enactment groups. Everyone is welcome, vintage attire is not compulsory and you may even find what you're looking for in the trade village to complete your look.

Pre-1970 vehicles will enter the site via the Campbell Entrance off Brooklands Road. Visitor parking will be in our main visitor car park at Mercedes-Benz World and in The Heights off Wellington Way (please follow event signage). Find out more
