The Brooklands Simulator Experience places you in the driver's seat for an adrenaline-fuelled 10-minute challenge around a digitally recreated Brooklands circuit.
Whether you're a seasoned motorsport enthusiast or a first-time racer, this immersive experience offers a thrilling taste of what it took to compete at the original home of British motorsport, on the world’s first purpose-built racing track.
Choose from the Outer Circuit or Grand Prix Circuit and feel every acceleration, every corner, and find the ultimate racing line as you push for the perfect lap!
Set your fastest time, challenge your friends and see if you have what it takes to earn a place on the Brooklands leaderboard!
How do I book?
Simulator Experience time slots run every 30 minutes from 10.15am until 30 minutes before the Museum closes. Sessions are only available to book on the day of your visit from Admissions. Please arrive 10 minutes before your session starts.
Price
Standard: £10 per person in addition to Museum admission
Brooklands Members: £9 per person
Please note: There is a minimum height of 140cm to take part in this experience. To book a Simulator session you must hold a valid admission ticket for the same day to Brooklands Museum.
The Simulator Experience
The Simulator Experience is located in the Jackson Shed in the brand new Britain's Grand Prix Story exhibition.
Once you have booked your timeslot at Admissions, drivers will be given a briefing leaflet to choose the car and circuit to drive and will hand this to the Simulator team upon arrival to their session.
Drivers can choose from two circuits:
The Brooklands Outer Circuit and the Brooklands Grand Prix Circuit
Drivers can choose from five cars (further information below)
Delage-S-8, McLaren P1, Mazda MX5 Cup, Tatuus FA01 and McLaren MP4/6
The Simulators
The Simulator Experience has two Exsim TRK simulators with 34" ultra wide gaming display using Assetto Corsa software for high performance racing simulation.
Engineered to remain rock-solid under heavy braking and aggressive steering, it eliminates flex to ensure 100% of force feedback is delivered directly to the driver.

Delage 15-S-8
A Brooklands legend! It was a Delage 15-S-8 that won Britain's first Grand Prix, held here at Brooklands in 1926. Cars like this Delage took drivers to victory at Grands Prix all over Europe in the early days of motorsport.

Small but mighty! The Mazda MX5 is one of the most popular cars in grassroots motorsport. MX5 Cup races are held all over the world, and are the perfect environment for drivers aiming to progress to higher tiers of motorsport to hone their skills.

Humble beginnings! The Tatuus FA01 is based on a series known as Formula Abarth, which eventually became the Italian F4 series. For a lot of young racers, Formula 4 is their first experience in a single seat race car, and the first rung on the ladder to Formula 1.

McLaren MP4/6
The pinnacle of motorsport! The Mclaren MP4/6 was the car that F1 legend Ayrton Senna drove to his third and final World Championship. With a screaming V12 engine behind him, Senna took the McLaren to 8 pole positions and 7 wins in the 1991 season.
