    Saturday 2nd March

Join John Tye as he discusses his career and life as a Concorde Pilot

Following the successful launch of his memoir, ‘Life of a Concorde Pilot - From the Orphanage to The Edge of Space’, Captain John Tye will host a welcome reception, followed by a two course meal on Saturday 2nd March, the 55th anniversary of the first Concorde flight from Toulouse.  This will be followed by an in depth presentation and the opportunity to ask John questions before the evening concludes with a book signing session.

John has a wealth of knowledge and amusing anecdotes to share accumulated over his 46 year career in aviation, 35 of which were as professional pilot. The pinnacle of course being the 3 action packed years flying Concorde. John was one of only 134 pilots ever to do so for British Airways.
