We are delighted to welcome to Brooklands Museum an author and speaker who is probably the world's leading authority on the SAS in the Second World War: Damien Lewis. A former war reporter, Damien's works on the wartime exploits of the SAS have topped bestseller lists worldwide. The title of this evening's talk, The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare, was made into an all action movie by Guy Ritchie. Damien was authorised by the family of Blair Mayne to tell his true story, resulting in his acclaimed Blair "Paddy" Mayne trilogy, which recounts the story of a character very different to that depicted in the Rogue Heroes TV series.
In person tickets are available until 9am on the day of the talk, Livestream tickets are available until midday on the day of the talk. Livestream links are sent out after midday on the day of the talk.
This event will be in person in the Clubhouse and broadcast on BM.tv Livestream.
The Members' Bar will be open from 6pm and hot food will be available. Please pre-book your food for the evening when purchasing your tickets.
