Explore STEM in action at Brooklands Innovation Academy
Bring your pupils along to explore first-hand the world of STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) against the historic and inspirational backdrop of Brooklands Museum.
Our 2026 event is on 7 October. Register your interest for free participation by email to biaenquiries@brooklandsmuseum.com.
Expect a day packed with innovation and inspiration, designed to show secondary school students that STEM careers are creative, innovative and enjoyable.
500 students from 40 senior schools are invited to join us for a day of TED-style talks by leading scientists and engineers, and practical workshops, many presented by leading STEM-based companies and trainers from in and around Surrey. We aim to connect your students to the careers of the future – inspired by our amazing collection and a team of talented scientists, technologists, engineers and mathematicians from industry.
We run a whole programme of Brooklands Innovation Academy STEM events for schools; this year's programme focuses on themes such as Women in STEM, Perseverance for Success in Engineering accessible for SEND pupils, Real World Applications of Mathematics, and Sustainable Fuel Production.
