In May 2026, the UK Government announced changes that allow eligible visitor attractions to benefit from VAT relief on admission tickets during the Great British Summer Savings period.

VAT will be reduced from 20% to 5% From 25 June to 1st September inclusive.

Brooklands Museum is pleased to be passing these savings on to visitors booking tickets online and in person for visits between 25 June and 1 September 2026 inclusive.

Tickets purchased before the introduction of the Great British Summer Savings offer were bought at the advertised price available at the time of booking.

As an independent charity, Brooklands Museum carefully reinvests all income into preserving our collections, maintaining our historic site and delivering our education programmes. For this reason, we are unable to offer retrospective refunds on tickets purchased before the pricing changes were introduced.

Each attraction is responsible for making its own commercial decisions based on its individual circumstances. Tickets purchased before the revised pricing was introduced were bought at the advertised price available at the time of booking.

As an independent charity, Brooklands Museum must carefully balance making visits as affordable as possible with generating the income needed to care for our historic site, conserve nationally significant collections and deliver learning opportunities for future generations.

We have chosen to use the Great British Summer Savings initiative to reduce the cost of future visits during the summer period, helping more people enjoy Brooklands while ensuring we can continue our charitable work and preserve this unique heritage for years to come.

Our standard booking terms and conditions continue to apply. Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable except in exceptional circumstances.

We understand some visitors may be disappointed.

Tickets purchased before the announcement were sold at the correct price available at that time. As a registered charity, Brooklands Museum must balance affordability for
visitors with the need to protect income that supports the Museum's ongoing conservation, education and public engagement work.

The new pricing allows us to make the most of the Government's initiative while continuing to safeguard the future of the Museum.

The offer applies to eligible visits between 25 June and 1 September 2026 inclusive. Ticket availability remains subject to capacity and some special events may be excluded.

No. The Great British Summer Savings VAT initiative applies to eligible admission tickets ONLY. Membership prices remain unchanged. Your admission ticket can still be applied to our standard upgrade to a Membership.

The scheme applies to standard eligible admission tickets ONLY. Existing car club, school and group rates remain available and continue to provide a reduced-price option for organised club, group and school visits.

The most up-to-date prices are always available on the Brooklands Museum website. You can find ticket prices here.
