This machine still has its original black finish and gold lining. Many of the fittings had been replaced to convert it into a road bike but the racing bike features such as the drop handlebars and brake mechanism have been put back as original. It does not have a chaincase although Sunbeam were world famous for their ‘Little Oil Bath’ chaincase even on their sporting machines. Sunbeam also produced a sporting cycle without the heavy chaincase.
