Roe I Biplane (replica)

This full-size replica was built by a Brooklands Museum volunteer team led by Steve Green. It was funded by Eric Verdon Roe, the grandson of A.V. Roe.

The replica was built to flyable standards for the Brooklands Aviation Centenary celebrations in June 2008.

In theory it will be capable of making short hops similar to those carried out by early pioneers of flight. It is fully collapsible and can be easily transported to air shows and other events.
