The straight tubes and smaller wheels gave this lady’s frame a more modern look compared with the large wheeled loop frame cycles of earlier times. This cycle has its original all-black finish and the then fashionable ‘Terrys’ sprung saddle covered in leatherette. Shorter skirts or shorts were fashionable for riding the sportier models, so dress guards were not needed. This was a cheaper model, with part chainguard, a transfer Raleigh head badge and was not chrome-plated.
