The Electric Assist Cycle is designed to conserve the rider’s energy and extend the range of travel, particularly in hilly or traffic congested areas. A sensor measures the input from the pedals and automatically doubles it using the 24-volt battery. It has a travel range of 25-30 miles, the power assistance ceases at 14mph and the battery pack is recharged in 3½ hours. It has 6-speed Shimano gears and a soft saddle with ‘quick release’ height adjustment.
