The frame of this cycle, when compared with the lady’s ‘Modele Superbe’ is not as complicated or the paint finish as elaborate. It was therefore a cheaper machine to make and sell. The brake controls are run inside the handlebars giving a clean appearance. It has a Sturmey-Archer 3-speed geared hub with the gear control fitted to the top of the loop of the frame, a short-nosed ‘Raleigh’ badged lady’s saddle, a luggage rack and the remains of a dress guard. The ‘Rudge Whitworth’ pedals are incorrect.
