By the 1930s it had become quite acceptable for a sporting lady to ride a cycle with a crossbar, so manufacturers only had to make one type of frame. This frame has a seat tube of only 21 inch front and back and, with the use of a long seat pillar, it allowed taller people to ride the tandem. It has been repainted and has some non-period fittings including handlebar, stem, brake levers, bell, pedals and the Raleigh pump.
