An American craze for ‘Street Cruisers’ introduced in 1981, resulted in Raleigh manufacturing the ‘Bomber’. Teenagers wanted something different from roadsters or sports cycles, so these bikes offered high-rise handlebars, saddle set well back, straight forks and fat tyres. These were available in High Gloss Black, with ‘Super Bombers’ available in Superchrome Blue.
