Landrover 109 Series III Ambulance

Built by Land-Rover at Solihull with serial no. 94200111A and special bodywork (designed in 1970) by Wadhams Stringer (Coachbuilders) Ltd., of Waterlooville, Hampshire, 'JOR 787L' was first registered on 21/9/72 and delivered new to Hawker Siddeley Aviation Ltd at Dunsfold Aerodrome, near Godalming, Surrey. It was used there as 'Fire 4' based at the Fire Station and maintained and operated by fire service personnel until October 2000.

Donated to Brooklands Museum by BAE Systems (Operations) Ltd. in October 2000 with only 14,000 miles ‘on the clock', it is preserved in running order and in its original colour scheme.
