Brooklands Museum Access Advisory Group
12th Nov 2025
Are you interested in making a positive contribution to improve accessibility at Brooklands Museum?
We are looking to establish a group of local residents to represent and advise on access needs for our visitors.
We are seeking to engage 12 people with a range of access needs from different age groups who reside within the Borough of Elmbridge. The aim is to form a new Access Advisory Group to collaborate and share experiences and insights, which will contribute to the creation of a 5 year access development plan for Brooklands Museum.
As a member of our Access Advisory Group, your perspective will be instrumental in helping us to shape this plan. The advisory group will meet for 2 hours quarterly (in person or online), and in return we will offer complimentary visits to Brooklands Museum to experience a day out, one of our events or experiences.
We will ask you to provide invaluable insight after your visit, from your online experience pre-visit and accessibility on site, through to getting around the Museum and interactions with our staff. Travel expenses will be covered and refreshments provided.
If you are interested in applying, please complete the short application form below by 15 December 2025.
We hope you will consider joining us in this important work.
Should you have any questions, feel free to reach out to Annette Hetherington, Learning & Engagement Manager ahetherington@brooklandsmuseum.com
