The Sewerage Cathedral
- Sorry this event has sold out
Sir Joseph Bazalgette was the father of the modern London sewerage system and he created a magnificent "cathedral" on the Thames Estuary. Not one to be understated the scale of the building is amazing and the detail of the coloured ironwork inside is quite astounding. The pumping station has been restored and one of the pumps is now working again, however, it won't be in action on our visit.
This will be a coach trip to East London beginning at Brooklands. Full details to follow but provisional bookings are now being taken.
