The Track

The Track is broadcast on Brooklands Radio on the last Thursday of the month at
1pm and the following Wednesday at 7pm. That show is then available as a podcast via Brooklands Radio.

The March edition features Dr Iain Murray talking about The Highball bomb and personal recollections from Bob Webb about his friend, and the Brooklands All-Stars Banjo player, Tony Pitt who died in January.

Catch-up on BMtv

Highball - The other bouncing bomb

A very successful live Zoom webinar with 89 in the live audience. Dr Iain Murray instructed us on the story behind this Barnes Wallis designed bomb, what was its use and how and why did it come to Brooklands in 2019. A niche story with quite a blast. We suspect Iain will be back later in the year with more to say about Sir Barnes and his inventions.

The Michael Turner Collection

Without doubt the most intensive and detailed post production of any of our talks to date. Michael is a world renowned artist whose attention to detail extends to our production of the video about his talk on the book. The work and time, 20 hours plus, involved in creating the best images of his work with correct colour balance, hue and focus was a fascinating learning curve for both Mark and Michael. The devil is in the detail, for all to see. Michael will be back later to talk about his aviation art. We can't wait.
