2018 Classic Car Show & Jumble
The 2018 Classic Car Show & Jumble took place on another hot summer's day bringing in hundreds of classics of every variety from Bond Bugs to Rolls Royces.
This year the Paddock focus was on Hot Rods and Customs and , again, a wide range of those turned up including rat rods, "sleepers" and beautifully prepared customs with amazing paintwork and enormous engines. We squeezed as many as possible in the Paddock but many more were to be found around the site.
Clubs were on the Finishing Straight and Moderns, Boomers and vintage in their own areas around the Museum.
Once again over one hundred trade and car boot stalls engulfed the Motoring Village with all manner of goods for sale and we also saw the return of a helicopter engine for the second year running - will it make it a third time in 2019 we wonder?
