The Brooklands Auto - Aero Jumble was established in the late 2000s and concentrated on auto and aero parts and spares. The last show of this nature took place at Brooklands in 2011 by which time it was becoming clear that traders were offering a wider variety of items than the original remit and Members were turning up in classic cars.
Retro items, gifts and vintage clothing were beginning to appear on the stalls as well as artwork, models, photographs and other items.
In 2012 we changed the name to the RetroJumble to reflect the change in style.
Members were beginning to bring their own classic cars in to the event and becoming part of the show and a couple of car clubs exhibited in the Motoring Village. Consequently 2012 was the last year of the Jumble only events.
It also rained....as can be seen in these pictures of the event which, unusually, was held in August, due to another event taking place on its usual date at the end of July.
