An Evening with Crofty

February 20, 2025

Following Karun Chandhok’s entertaining appearance at Brooklands, we will be joined by his Sky F1 partner in crime, David Croft, known to his friends as Crofty.

After an early career in regional radio, Crofty became the Formula One commentator on BBC Radio 5 Live in 2006, before moving to Sky Sports in 2012, partnering Martin Brundle. With his trademark "It’s lights out and away we go" introduction, Crofty has commentated on more than 300 Grand Prix. Whilst not without the occasional controversy, his enthusiasm, energetic commentary and deep understanding of the sport have played a vital role in Sky's highly successful Formula One coverage.

Having worked alongside former drivers such as Jenson Button, Nico Rosberg and Anthony Davidson, we look forward to Crofty sharing with us his unique insight into Formula One broadcasting.

This event will be in person in the Clubhouse and broadcast on BM.tv Livestream

The Members' Bar will be open from 6pm and hot food will be available.
