SHIELDHALL 2020 REFUNDS
If you are patiently still awaiting a refund, apologies but I have not had the refunds from Shieldhall. Its not been forgotten.
BOURNEMOUTH AIR FESTIVAL – 4th & 5th SEPTEMBER 2021
If you are booked for the event on the 4th or 5th September I regret that there may have to be a small price increase because of the lower numbers in our group affects the per-head price of the coaches. At the moment this is just to advise of the possibility as I am not sorting this out until closer to the date as I am certain that more changes are likely!
Because of the date change there are now a very few tickets available for Sunday 5
September. If you are interested please email me and I will send information. There will be a coach from Brooklands Museum to take us to and from Poole dock. This saves the problem parking in Poole town.

SHELSLEY WALSH HILL CLIMB – TUESDAY 28 SEPTEMBER
Situated in the most scenic of locations this Hill Climb is the oldest in the UK, and the first purpose built motor-sport venue in history. Motorsport events have been staged continually (apart from wartime) since 1905 on the original course. The course length is now 1000 yards, slightly longer than originally.
The Hill Climb has been booked for the sole use of Brooklands Members on Tuesday 28th September.
Registration is now open, visit the event page to find out more.
Find out moreSHERE HILL CLIMB – SUNDAY 5th SEPTEMBER
Booking opens 1 March. This is a not a competitive event so no special clothing is needed and passengers are allowed. Please let Angela Hume know if you book (do not wait until you have confirmation or rejection of your entry) and you would like a space in the 'Brooklands Paddock'.
Please note that the entry fee in not refundable if the event is not able to go ahead. This is because the event is run on a voluntary basis and the set-up arrangements cost a great deal of money that has to be paid up-front. The 'profit' for the various supported charities (Brooklands being one) comes from the spectator entry fees. Do come and watch if you do not have an eligible classic car

JERSEY INTERNATIONAL MOTORING FESTIVAL – NEW SEPTEMBER DATE FOR 2021 & AVAILABILITY
Our long awaited visit to Jersey has been rescheduled for Thursday 9 September to Monday 13 September 2021. Goodwood Revival is the following weekend so it is possible to fit in both, if you have not arranged other holidays.
Everyone booked for this visit will have been notified by Scenic Car Tours but if this new date does clash with other holiday arrangements Members have made, please let me (and Scenic) know if you do have to cancel so our lists can be updated.
There are a few places available, so if the new date means that you could now come this weekend, please let me know and I will send information.
