Deputy Retail Sales & Admissions Manager

Brooklands Museum is on the site of the world's first purpose-built motor racing circuit and where nearly 19,000 aircraft were built or assembled and first flown: the Birthplace of British motorsport and aviation and Home of Concorde. With around 185,000 visitors pa and having just opened an £8M Heritage Lottery-funded project, we are at an exciting time in our 26 year history.

Responsible to the Retail Sales Manager, the key purposes of this role are to ensure the effective and efficient management of the day to day retail and admissions operation, including Concorde Check-in and our 4D Theatre and acting as a deputy for the Retail Sales and Admissions Manager.

A track record in a visitor or customer-focussed environment is essential and experience of online sales and automated stock systems is desirable. Regular weekend working will be required.

Salary c£21,000pa depending on experience with 25 days holiday and company pension.

Part-Time Sales & Admissions Assistants

Casual vacancies for experienced retail staff to work weekends and possibly some weekdays

Responsible to the Retail Sales & Admissions Manager and their Deputy, the key purposes of this role are to provide a friendly welcome to the Museum, to sell admission tickets and tickets for the Concorde Experience and 4D Theatre and be a retail sales assistant.

Previous experience in a retail or customer-focussed environment is desirable with GCSE grade C or above in Maths and English essential.

Salary This role is hourly paid at a rate of £8.41 for over 25s, £7.90 for 21-25s and £6.44 for up to 21s (all rates including an allowance for holiday pay)
