The Museum is between Weybridge and Byfleet, just a few minutes from Junction 10 of the M25 and the A3 London-Portsmouth trunk road. The postcode for our visitor car park is KT13 0SL and it is Entrance 1 on the map below.
Please note: although Brooklands Road will be closed from 5am - 11.45am on 31st July for the Prudential RideLondon cycling event, our entrance via Mercedes-Benz World will be open from 10am as usual. Access during the closure period is via the A318/Oyster Lane. To plan your journey, click here.
Main Access for Visitors
When leaving the M25, take the A3 towards London for approx. half a mile and leave by the Painshill junction, taking the A245 towards Byfleet. Follow the brown ‘Brooklands Museum’ signs until you reach the entrance to Mercedes-Benz World, marked by our Concorde Gate Guardian. The main visitor entrance of the Museum is reached via Brooklands Drive - follow the road round the back of the Mercedes-Benz World building until you reach the Museum car park.
From Weybridge, follow the brown signs which will bring you along Brooklands Road, the B374, and Wellington Way to Mercedes-Benz World, marked by our Concorde Gate Guardian. The main visitor entrance of the Museum is reached via Brooklands Drive - follow the road round the back of the Mercedes-Benz World building until you reach the Museum car park.
From Woking on the A245, turn left into Sopwith Drive when you reach Brooklands, go straight across the first roundabout by Tescos and straight across the next roundabout, which is the entrance to Mercedes-Benz World and marked by our Concorde Gate Guardian. The main visitor entrance of the Museum is reached via Brooklands Drive - follow the road round the back of the Mercedes-Benz World building until you reach the Museum car park.
Parking - the main Museum car park is FREE and located at our main entrance but for larger events, extra parking is provided in The Heights off Wellington Way. Please follow event parking signs and marshals on event days.

For disabled visitors, event participants, exhibitors, deliveries, classic vehicles (subject to event particulars), pedestrians from Weybridge Train Station and attendees of functions AFTER 6pm ONLY, please use the Campbell Gate Entrance off Brooklands Road. From the A3, leave at the Painshill junction and follow the A245 towards Byfleet. At the first roundabout turn right into Brooklands Road (B374) and at the next roundabout, ignore the brown signs to Brooklands Museum and Mercedes-Benz World and go straight over. After 300m, take the entrance on the left signed JTI Members Hill.
From Weybridge, follow the brown signs to the Museum until the roundabout at Weybridge Railway Station is reached. Continue along Brooklands Road (B374) and after one mile Locke King Road will be on the right. 100m beyond this, the JTI Members Hill entrance will be on the right.
From Woking on the A245, turn left into Brooklands Road (B374). At the next roundabout, ignore the brown signs to Brooklands Museum and Mercedes-Benz World and go straight over. After 300m, take the entrance on the left signed JTI Members Hill.
As mentioned, this entrance should be used for deliveries, pedestrian access from Weybridge Station, disabled visitors,event participants and functions after 6pm ONLY.
General guidance on admission policy for classic cars via the Campbell Gate Entrance
Subject to events taking place, the following are generally admitted through the Campbell Gate:
Any vehicle more than 30 years old (or an example of a model that went into production before 1985). This means a prefix of B for those cars without personalised number plates).
Significant, collectible more recent cars are also admitted, such as Morgan, Ferrari, Maserati, Lamborghini, Rolls Royce, Bentley or Aston Martin (this list is not exhaustive).
Please abide by the instructions given by Gate staff.
