Most of the Brooklands motorcycle collection is displayed in the original ERA Shed and in the pre-War workshop of the famous builder and tuner, Michael McEvoy.
Every Thursday, the Motorcycle Volunteer Team works at the Museum to maintain and test the bikes. The Motorcycle Volunteers are a mixture of engineers, ex-racers, restorers and above all, riders who love to work on bikes, talk bikes, ride bikes and cherish bikes. They are always ready to stop what they are doing to talk to visitors and the atmosphere is very much that of an active Motorcycle Club. Some of the work involves complete re-builds and major overhauls of machines that have been donated to the Museum. There is always something to do!
