Every weekday this summer holiday (from 5th – 30th August, excluding Bank Holiday Monday 26th) our popular car rides will be operating from 11am-1pm and from 2-4pm (subject to weather). For a requested donation of £1, take a trip in a vintage-style car up Test Hill and along the Members’ Banking of the old Brooklands Race Track, courtesy of the Brooklands Volunteer Car Rides Team. There will be guest appearances from Bertie the Brooklands Bear, Trails for children up to 12 years old and Bus Rides in a vintage double-decker bus courtesy of London Bus Museum.
The London Bus Museum, Motoring Village, Museum shop and Sunbeam Café will all be open. On Thursday 8th, 15th and 22nd August the Motorcycle Volunteer Team will be displaying some Classic Motorcycles on site. Not only will you see some of our bikes in action, but you can ask them questions about our collection. If you’re too young to hold a license speak to the volunteers from the Surrey Youth Motorcycle Trials Club, who will help you to find out more about becoming a motorcyclist and will let you try some bikes for size!
As there is so much for families to see and do at Brooklands this summer, come and stay the whole day!
