Morris and Austin Day

Sunday, March 10, 2013

Join us as we celebrate 100 glorious years of Morris!

All types of Morris & Austin vehicles will be on display in and around the Paddock, with Test Hill in action and the annual cavalcade. All drivers and passengers arriving in Morris or Austin cars at the Campbell Entrance off Brooklands Road (the B374) will receive a discount of £1 off our usual prices. Parking for visitors in non-Morris and Austin cars will be in our main visitor car park at Mercedes-Benz World and in The Heights off Wellington Way (please follow event signage), with normal Museum admission prices applying.

Some of the cars expected to attend include:

MORRIS: The Ten-Six Special was the only car that Morris advertised as a sports car and we are expecting at least one example to be at the event.  Also look out for Bullnose, Eight, Ten & other pre-war saloons; 10 Tourer; war-time Morris military vehicles; Morris Commercials - including pre-war examples; Morris Marina; Morris Mini; Morris Minor 1000 Convertibles/Light Commercial Vehicles/saloons/Travellers; Morris Isis & Oxford; Morris 1100; Morris ‘J’ Type, LC/LD & other post-war Morris commercials; Mini Mokes.

AUSTIN: Seven, Ten & other pre-war saloons; Austin A30/A35 saloons & vans; Austin A40; Austin A50/A55/A60 saloons & Light Commercials; Austin Healey; Austin Mini – all types, including Mini Cooper; Austin 1100; Austin Princess; Austin 101, LC/LD & other post-war Austin commercials.

Clubs booked to attend include:
The Austin Healey Car Club, the Cambridge & Oxford Club, the Morris Register, the Mini Moke Club, the Morris Minors Owners Club and the Metro & 1100 Clubs.  Pre-War Morris and Austin vehicles will be displayed in the Paddock.

10.00 Gates open
