Now a firm fixture in the motoring calendar, visitors to the fourth Autumn Motorsport Day will get a double helping of action. Competition cars from all ages will be put through their paces on the adjacent Mercedes-Benz World circuit and later in the day Test Hill will be in action.
Among the many race cars present will be F5000, FIA GTs and Touring Cars, as well as Group B rally machinery. This year we have two very special Bennetton F1 cars joining us, the B190 that Nelson Piquet drove in the 1990 F1 World Championship and the B193 driven by Michael Schumacher in the 1993 season.
Other notable entries being demonstrated at the event include Peter Jerram’s rare Ferrari 1951 212 F1 and Allan Collett’s racing Iso Rivolta.
There will also be classic car displays plus, if you arrive in your own Italian road car (any model and year), you can be part of the event by joining the Italian car display.
This is a premium event, entry charges are:
Seniors & Students £12
Children (5-16 inc.) £6.50
BTM & LBPT £2
No advance ticketing for this event: simply pay on the day.
Parking for display, classic and Italian cars is on the Museum site, reached via the Campbell Entrance off Brooklands Road, with additional public parking in The Heights off Wellington Way.
